Tottenham boss Andre Villas-Boas is still without Achilles victim Scott Parker for his side's Premier League clash with Chelsea.

The 32-year-old midfielder has not played since he turned out for England in their Euro 2012 defeat to Italy and Villas-Boas is now not expecting him back until Christmas.

Defenders Benoit Assou-Ekotto and Younes Kaboul (both knee) are still absent, but Jake Livermore and Kyle Naughton are back in training after groin and ankle injuries respectively.

Provisional squad: Lloris, Friedel, Gomes, Cudicini, Smith, Gallas, Dawson, Walker, Naughton, Vertonghen, Caulker, Falque, Huddlestone, Mason, Bale, Lennon, Livermore, Sandro, Dembele, Dempsey, Sigurdsson, Carroll, Townsend, Defoe, Adebayor, Obika.

John Terry's four-match ban for racially abusing Anton Ferdinand comes into force for this London derby.

Manager Roberto Di Matteo will have Frank Lampard and Ryan Bertrand available after both players missed England's World Cup qualifying matches against San Marino and Poland.

Lampard has overcome a calf injury while Bertrand has shaken the illness which forced him to leave the England camp, with both players taking part in two training sessions this week.

Provisional squad: Cech, Azpilicueta, Ivanovic, Cahill, Luiz, Cole, Bertrand, Mikel, Romeu, Lampard, Ramires, Mata, Hazard, Oscar, Moses, Marin, Piazon, Sturridge, Torres, Turnbull.

Fulham v Aston Villa

Dimitar Berbatov is amongst the players Fulham can welcome back for the home clash with Aston Villa.

The Bulgarian returns from a problem with his hip/upper thigh and will be joined in Martin Jol's side by fellow striker Mladen Petric, who has recovered from a calf problem.

Mahamadou Diarra's recovery from a knee injury means he could also be involved, although Simon Davies (hip) remains sidelined and Bryan Ruiz (groin) is a doubt.

Aston Villa midfielder Stephen Ireland will return to the squad after missing three games with a broken bone in his arm.

Villa boss Paul Lambert will assess the freshness of goalkeeper Brad Guzan and midfielders Brett Holman and Karim El Ahmadi after gruelling midweek trips back from playing for the United States, Australia and Morocco respectively.

Full-back Joe Bennett is expected to be fit after suffering a leg injury during the 2-0 defeat at Tottenham a fortnight ago - but central defender Richard Dunne (groin) remains a long-term casualty.

Fulham squad: Schwarzer, Stockdale, Riether, Kelly, Hangeland, Hughes, Senderos, Baird, Smith, Riise, Briggs, Sidwell, Duff, Diarra, Richardson, Kacaniklic, Kasami, Karagounis, Frei, Dejagah, Ruiz, Berbatov, Petric, Rodallega, Trotta.

Man United v Stoke

Ashley Young returns to the Manchester United squad after a two-month absence ahead of the Premier League encounter with Stoke at Old Trafford.

Young has recovered from a knee injury and is in contention to face Tony Pulis' men.

Chris Smalling (foot) will not be considered even though he is closing in on full fitness.

Team (from): De Gea, Lindegaard, Rafael, Ferdinand, Evans, Evra, Buttner, Valencia, Nani, Fletcher, Anderson, Scholes, Carrick, Cleverley, Giggs, Kagawa, Rooney, Van Persie, Hernandez, Welbeck.

Midfielder Whelan, who came off in the 0-0 draw at Liverpool with a hamstring problem which kept him out of the Republic of Ireland's World Cup qualifiers against Germany and the Faroe Islands, is rated "50-50" by Pulis.

The manager has also said he expects striker Owen, missing from the Liverpool game after tweaking his groin, to only be fit enough for a place on the bench at best, but defender Andy Wilkinson is available again after completing a three-match suspension.

Provisional squad: Begovic, Sorensen, Huth, Shawcross, Cameron, Upson, Shotton, Wilson, Whelan, Etherington, Delap, Palacios, Jones, Jerome, Crouch, Walters, Kightly, Whitehead, Adam, Edu, Nzonzi, Owen, Ness, Wilkinson.

Swansea v Wigan

Swansea manager Michael Laudrup could decide to keep faith with the side that recovered from 2-0 down to draw with Reading when Wigan visit the Liberty Stadium.

Striker Danny Graham looks set to continue ahead of Luke Moore, despite being withdrawn at the interval against the Royals, while Ki Sung-yueng could again keep Jonathan de Guzman out of the starting XI.

The Congo international picked up a niggle on international duty this week and is rated as "60-40" to be fit for the match by head coach Steve Clarke.

Striker Romelu Lukaku is expected to be available after a minor ankle problem, but Steven Reid and Chris Brunt (both hamstring), Billy Jones (knee) and Boaz Myhill (thumb) are out, while long-term absentee Jerome Thomas is still not quite ready.

Champions Manchester City are without midfielders David Silva and Jack Rodwell for the game.

Reid (back) and Demel (thigh) will have to prove their fitness ahead of the match, while the Hammers will also be without Ricardo Vaz Te who has had surgery on his dislocated shoulder.

First-choice goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny (ankle) remains sidelined, as do midfielders Abou Diaby (thigh) and Jack Wilshere (ankle), Czech winger Tomas Rosicky (hamstring) and defender Bacary Sagna (broken leg), while goalkeeper Lukasz Fabianski is out after damaging ankle ligaments in training this week.

Sunderland winger James McClean will be in contention for a derby return against Newcastle on Sunday after shaking off a groin injury.

Full-back Phil Bardsley could also make the squad after returning to action for the Under-21s side following an ankle injury which has sidelined him since pre-season, but defender Titus Bramble is a doubt with a hip flexor problem and skipper Lee Cattermole completes his three-match ban.

Fellaini, who has been one of the most impressive players in the league this season, suffered a knee injury against Wigan two weeks ago and missed out on international duty with Belgium.

He could be fit for next weekend's Merseyside derby as could Tony Hibbert (calf), but Darron Gibson (thigh) is likely to be out for longer while short-term signing Thomas Hitzlsperger will not yet be considered.
