Tonight (Monday 15 October) the Irish Greyhound Board will host the first ever live Greyhound Forum at Curraheen Park Greyhound Stadium in Cork. The event is part of the Connolly's Red Mills Irish Laurels.
The forum will be chaired by Michael Fortune, who will pose questions to a panel of industry experts on the Connolly's Red Mills Irish Laurels and on the state of the Irish Greyhound Industry.
The panel will consist of Phil Meaney (Chairman of the Irish Greyhound Board), Jimmy Barry Murphy (GAA Star and Greyhound Racing Follower), Dolores Ruth (Derby and Laurels winning trainer), Paul Hennessy (Derby and Laurels winning trainer), Liam Dowling (Breeder at Shelbourne Stud) and Tommy Lyons (Greyhound Racing Journalist)
The forum will be streamed live worldwide from 8.00pm here on RTÉ.ie/sport and will also be available on RTÉ News Now.

This is the first year that Connolly's Red Mills have sponsored the Irish Laurels, which is a long standing event in Cork and is often referred to as the Derby of the South.
The Semi-Finals of the Laurels were held on Saturday 13 October with the final taking place on Saturday 20 October.
The objective of the forum is to discuss this year's Laurels, reviewing the semi-finals and previewing the final as well as reflecting on the history and significance of the event. The forum will also tackle wider issues relating to the Greyhound Industry in Ireland.
