Brian O'Driscoll has clarified his stance on a move to Super 15, saying he has no plans to head for Australia when his current contract with the IRFU ends in June.
O'Driscoll, who will lead Ireland in Test clashes against South Africa and Argentina in November, suggested that he was open to the idea of a move to the Waratahs and a link-up with former Leinster coach Michael Cheika in an interview with the Daily Telegraph.
It was then reported in Australian media that Cheika had been in touch with O'Driscoll but the Leinster and Ireland star said today that there has been no contact.
Speaking ahead of Leinster's Heineken Cup clash with Llanelli Scarlets at the weekend, he said: "I've always said; never say never. But it's certainly not on my to do list at the moment.
"I don't know if I'm playing beyond June. I'm contracted until then, so I'm enjoying things at the moment and I've no plans or desires at the moment to be heading over there and I haven't spoken to anyone about it."
