Wigan v Arsenal, 12.45 
Wigan boss Roberto Martinez again faces an injury headache for the tie against the Gunners.

He will definitely be without four players after defender Adrian Lopez (hamstring) joined Ben Watson (broken leg), Ryo Miyaichi (ankle) and Albert Crusat (knee) on the long-term injury list.

Another four players should feature over the festive period, with captain Gary Caldwell (hamstring) the most likely to make it for Arsenal ahead of fellow centre-backs Ivan Ramis (hamstring), Antolin Alcaraz (groin) and midfielder James McCarthy (ankle).

Arsenal report no fresh injury problems for the trip to the DW Stadium.

England forward Theo Walcott could again be preferred in a central striker's role ahead of Olivier Giroud after scoring in the 5-2 win at Reading.

Full-back Andre Santos (stomach muscle) and midfielder Abou Diaby (thigh) continue their rehabilitation.

Man City v Reading 
Manchester City striker Mario Balotelli will miss the champions' clash with after suffering from a virus.

Captain and defender Vincent Kompany (groin) is hoping to prove his fitness while midfielders James Milner (hamstring) and Gareth Barry (suspension) return.

Reading striker Jason Roberts is ruled out with a hip problem.

Jem Karacan (knee), Jimmy Kebe (groin) and Danny Guthrie (thigh) should be available, but Sean Morrison (ankle) is still sidelined.

Alex McCarthy is out long-term after undergoing shoulder surgery.

Newcastle United v QPR 
Newcastle utility man James Perch is manager Alan Pardew's only new concern. 

Perch has a minor neck problem, but is expected to be available, while midfielder Gabriel Obertan is fit after working his way back from toe surgery.

However, winger Hatem Ben Arfa and central defender Steven Taylor (both hamstring) and midfielder Yohan Cabaye (groin) remain on the sidelines.

QPR goalkeeper Julio Cesar and right-back Jose Bosingwa will both miss the trip to St James' Park.

The pair have sustained back injuries and will not travel to the north east, with midfielder Kieron Dyer also missing out through injury.

Park Ji-sung (knee) is another player sidelined, while strikers Andrew Johnson (knee) and Bobby Zamora (hip) remain absent.

Southampton v Sunderland 
Adam Lallana is Southampton's only absentee for the crunch tie Sunderland.

The Saints captain suffered a knee injury in the defeat of Reading and, while coy on the severity of the complaint, manager Nigel Adkins confirmed he will not be available at St Mary's tomorrow.

The south coast club can, though, welcome back goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga from a shoulder injury, while Frazer Richardson and Richard Chaplow are also back in contention.

Sunderland boss Martin O'Neill will await the results of late fitness tests on a trio of key players before naming his team.

Full-backs Phil Bardsley (knee), Danny Rose (ankle) and striker Steven Fletcher (back) have returned to light training, but are yet to prove they are ready to play at the St Mary's Stadium.

Skipper Lee Cattermole remains on the long-term casualty list with a knee ligament injury, and David Meyler is set to be recalled from his loan spell at npower Championship Hull after Friday's game at Derby to add to the cover.

Tottenham v Stoke City

Gareth Bale has recovered from his hamstring injury and is available to face Stoke.

Scott Parker continued his comeback from an Achilles problem with a run-out in the under-21s on Monday and could feature against the Potters while fellow long-term injury victim Benoit Assou-Ekotto (knee) was due to have a test today to see if he is fit enough to play.

Emmanuel Adebayor (hamstring) was also due to face a fitness test. Defender Younes Kaboul (knee) is out but Michael Dawson is fit again after missing the last three games with a hamstring injury.

Stoke midfielder Charlie Adam is set to miss the game after been granted compassionate leave by the Potters following the death of his father this week.

Defender Ryan Shotton is available for selection again having completed a one-match suspension, but it is expected the Spurs game will come too soon for striker Michael Owen to make his first-team return after his recent injury problems.

West Brom v Norwich City 
West Brom will be without suspended midfielder Youssouf Mulumbu.

The DR Congo international will serve a one-game ban after incurring his fifth yellow card of the season against West Ham. His midfield partner Claudio Yacob (hamstring) remains doubtful.

But goalkeeper Ben Foster is pushing for a recall after his return to training this week following two groin operations which side-lined him for six weeks.

Norwich captain Grant Holt is doubtful for the trip to the midlands.

On-loan Tottenham forward Harry Kane could be back in contention after two months out with a broken metatarsal, while defender Ryan Bennett (knee) is also set to resume full training.

Winger Andrew Surman (knee) and England goalkeeper John Ruddy (thigh) remain sidelined.

West Brom squad: Foster, Myhill, Daniels, Jones, McAuley, Olsson, Tamas, Dawson, Ridgewell, Popov, Dorrans, Brunt, Morrison, Gera, Odemwingie, Fortune, Long, Lukaku, Rosenberg, Reid, Yacob.

West Ham United v Everton 
West Ham welcome midfielder Jack Collison back into their squad for their clash with Everton.

Collison has not featured for the Hammers since the final game of last season but is back in action after recovering from a serious knee injury.

Manager Sam Allardyce is still struggling with a long injury list with Mohamed Diame (hamstring), Andy Carroll (knee), Ricardo Vaz Te (shoulder) and Alou Diarra (thigh) missing and Yossi Benayoun (knee) unlikely to feature.

Everton will be without midfielder Marouane Fellaini as the Belgium international begins a three-match suspension.

The Football Association handed Fellaini the ban after reviewing footage of Saturday's 1-1 draw at Stoke, in which he appeared to headbutt Potters captain Ryan Shawcross.

Toffees boss David Moyes - who has had Kevin Mirallas, Victor Anichebe (both hamstring), Tony Hibbert (calf) and Phil Neville (knee) sidelined in recent weeks - said there was "quite a lot" of injury news within his squad, but would not be drawn on any specifics.

West Ham squad: Jaaskelainen, Spiegel, O'Brien, Reid, Collins, Tomkins, McCartney, Spence, Demel, Moncur, Taylor, Noble, Collison, Lletget, Nolan, Jarvis, Benayoun, O'Neil, Maiga, Cole.

Liverpool v Fulham (5.30) 

Liverpool defender Jose Enrique returned to training this week after a hamstring injury and comes back into contention for the visit of Fulham.

Midfielder Nuri Sahin is fit after surgery on a broken nose but winger Oussama Assaidi is out with a knee problem.

Manager Brendan Rodgers has spoken about the need to rest forward Raheem Sterling and if he does Suso would be his likely replacement.

Fulham boss Martin Jol has been forced to recall goalkeeper David Stockdale from his loan spell at Hull. 

Third-choice goalkeeper Neil Etheridge has been ruled out with a leg injury and Stockdale will now provide cover to Mark Schwarzer.

Midfielder Steve Sidwell is banned while Mahamadou Diarra (knee) and Bryan Ruiz (hamstring) are missing, although full-back Sascha Riether has recovered from a knee problem suffered last weekend.

Swansea v Manchester United, 1.30 
Michel Vorm is set to return from a groin injury when Swansea welcome Premier League leaders Manchester United to the Liberty Stadium on Sunday.

The Dutchman has been out for eight weeks but is set to replace Gerhard Tremmel between the sticks, while Pablo Hernandez returns to the squad after a thigh injury.

Angel Rangel is likely to miss out again with the calf problem that kept him out of the defeat at Tottenham, with Dwight Tiendalli set to continue at right-back.

Manchester United full-back Rafael will miss Sunday's game

The Brazilian missed Saturday's win over Sunderland with a hamstring injury and has still not recovered.

Shinji Kagawa (knee) and Nani (hamstring) are both still sidelined, but Jonny Evans is available after his own hamstring problem.

Chelsea v Aston Villa, 4.00

Rafael Benitez has admitted he could not guarantee John Terry would be fit for Chelsea's Christmas fixtures.

Terry's recovery from knee surgery is proving more problematic than first thought and he will definitely miss the game against Aston Villa.

Ramires, John Obi Mikel and Gary Cahill all return from suspension, Daniel Sturridge is available for selection after his hamstring injury, but Ryan Bertrand is doubtful after being forced off in Wednesday's Capital One Cup quarter-final at Leeds.

Stephen Ireland is available again for Villa after missing the 3-1 win over Liverpool at Anfield last weekend through illness.

But skipper and central defender Ron Vlaar and striker Gabriel Agbonlahor remain major doubts with calf and thigh problems respectively.
