Dan Tuohy has returned to training and is available for Ulster's RaboDirect PRO12 game against Scarlets at Ravenhill on Friday.
Second row Tuohy has responded well to treatment on the torn calf muscle suffered against Northampton three weeks ago and has been named in an extended squad.
Rory Best, Andrew Trimble, Iain Henderson and Ruan Pienaar are all available after missing Saturday's defeat to Munster at Thomond Park.
