The Central Hearings Committee (CHC) has cleared Cork's Patrick Horgan to play against Kilkenny in the All-Ireland quarter-final.
Horgan was given a straight card for his foul on Limerick's Paudie O'Brien just before half-time in last Sunday's Munster hurling final.
As a result the Glen Rovers player received a one-match ban.
However, the appeal by the Cork county board to the CHC was successful and so Horgan will now be eligible to face the Cats in Thurles on Sunday week.
The Rebels lost out by 0-24 to 0-15 in the provincial decider and will be keen to make amends in the first part of a double-header at Semple Stadium, with Clare and Galway to clash in the other quarter-final tie.
