Donegal's Mark McHugh is expected to be sidelined for at least a month after incurring a number of injuries in a high-impact collision with Monaghan's Stephen Gollogly in Sunday's Ulster SFC final defeat in Clones.
The Kilcar half-forward suffered concussion, a perforated eardrum and a quad muscle injury at St Tiernach's Park.
McHugh's injuries are likely to rule him out of an All-Ireland quarter-final, should Donegal advance from their qualifier against Laois in Carrick-on-Shannon on Saturday.
Declan Walsh, David Walsh and McHugh's brother Ryan are in contention to replace the injured Donegal star.
