Nina Carberry to miss Galway Races

Nina Carberry will not be back from injury in time for the Galway Races next week.

Carberry broke her collar bone when unshipped from Kilapsy on the way to the start for the bumper at Gowran on June 23.

She had hoped to make it back for the big summer meeting but now has her sights set on Listowel in September instead

"I won't make it back for Galway and will probably be out for another three weeks," said Carberry.

"I have to go back in the middle of August to see the consultant and see what he says then.

"I'm aiming to be back for Listowel now."
