The basement battle in the Airtricity League Premier Division takes centre stage this afternoon when Bray Wanderers and Shelbourne meet at the Carlisle Grounds at 3.30pm.
The sides are level on 19 points, with Shelbourne having a better goal difference, and are just one point ahead of bottom placed Bohemians.
The teams have already met twice this season with Bray winning on both occasions, 1-0 at the Carlisle Grounds and 2-1 at Tolka Park.
However, the arrival of Johnny McDonnell in the Shels dug-out has seen a revival in their fortunes and they come into this game on the back of three straight wins while Bray are without a win in their last six league games.
Bray defender Shane O'Connor (knee) is absent, while Shelbourne's Paul Crowley, Gareth O'Connor and Mark Leech are still out as is Robert Bayly.
Shelbourne's new signings, Brian Gannon and Paul Andrews, are expected to feature at some stage.
