Dublin football supporters will get the chance to celebrate their All-Ireland Football Championship success with their players in the city centre this evening.
Dublin City Council will host the champions at Merrion Square at 7pm.
Speaking from the team hotel this morning, Dublin manager Jim Gavin told RTÉ: "It is a sense of great satisfaction and particularly for the players perspective that the put all the hard work in. The self-sacrificing and commitment to their county and to come away having won the National League and the All-Ireland is a great credit to their resolve and determination over the season.
"In Dublin there is that level of expectation. We're comfortable with it because we've all grown up with it. We were involved with the Under-21s for six years. Three of them we were successful and three we weren't. There are no guarantees in sport and there is no guarantees next year the team will be successful if we don't work hard."
Eoghan O'Gara, a substitute that scored two points in the win, said it was difficult to come to terms with another All-Ireland glory.
"Dust is settling and you're trying to take it all in. You see the Cup and bits of it sink in when you see the Sam Maguire. I don't think it sinks in for a while yet. The next day is enjoyable as I remember from the last time. It is licking the wounds.
"I think throughout the year we kind of took it each step at the time. We never looked at the big picture and said we're going to win the All-Ireland this year. We took it a game at a time and got better as the year went on."
Mayo's senior and minor team will leave Dublin and will arrive in Castlebar around 5pm following a reception in Croke Park.
For full interviews, listen to RTÉ's Game On from 7pm tonight on 2FM.
