Brisbane Lions have released Niall McKeever after four seasons with the Aussie Rules AFL side.
The former Antrim footballer signed for the Queensland side in 2009 and made his Lions debut in 2011.
McKeever, who played for Antrim in the 2009 Ulster final ahead of his move Down Under, tweeted that he had an "incredible experience" throughout his four years in Brisbane.
After a year learning his new trade in Brisbane, having never played with the oval ball, McKeever developed as a utility player and started down back, up forward and also in the ruck for Brisbane.
But having only made three senior matches in 2013, the 24-year-old has now been de-listed ahead of the 2014 season.
