Munster's Tommy O'Donnell could be sidelined for up to 12 weeks, the club have said.
O'Donnell, who was helped off after 67 minutes against Zebre with a knee injury, will see a specialist later this week, but initial reports suggest he could be out for 10-12 weeks.
There was better news for Felix Jones who was declared fit to return to some controlled contact this week, with a plan of returning to full training next week if all goes well. Jones underwent shoulder surgery in July.
Ian Nagle, who suffered strained tendons under his foot, also during last week's match against Zebre, is currently undergoing rehabilitation and could return in two weeks.
And there is good news for Andrew Conway who is back in light training this week following a groin strain.
