Vice captain Aaron Davey has promised that Australia won't lie down in the second international rules Test against Ireland on Saturday.
The Aussies have to make up a 22-point deficit in Croke Park after a 57-35 loss in Cavan on Saturday.
The visitors struggled to adapt to the game in the early stages, but a strong third quarter meant they maintained an outside chance of recapturing the Cormac McAnallen Cup.
Davey, who is one of only three Aussie players in the indigenous squad to have played the sport before, told RTÉ Sport: "I can tell you now it's going to be a lot more different next week.
"We are going to sit back and review our last half and we're going to bring that in the first half.
"Our biggest strength is our tackling and we've got so much pace. Once we started running guys down from behind that's when the Irish started getting a bit hesitant, trying to take the boys on.
"I'm sure it's at the forefront of our minds next week to come out and tackle and pressurise from the word go.
"I think the Irish squad have been training together for the last eight weeks and all our boys came together about a week and a half ago, so it clearly showed what eight weeks together in training can do for your team."
