Hurricane Fly is one of nine remaining possibles - six of which are stable companions - for Sunday's StanJames.com Morgiana Hurdle at Punchestown.
The dual Champion Hurdle winner has had this race as his aim since the summer and took the first Grade One hurdle of the season in Britain or Ireland 12 months ago.
Hurricane Fly will be bidding for an incredible 17th Grade One victory.
Mullins has also left in the unbeaten mare Annie Power, Un De Sceaux, Blood Cotil, Midnight Game and dual-purpose performers Marito and Mikael D'Haguenet.
Jessica Harrington has also targeted the race for her stable star Jezki, who has had the benefit of a previous run.
The only other entry is Michael Bowe's Akatara.
