Pete McGrath is the new Fermanagh football manager, taking over from Peter Canavan, who stepped down from the post in September.
McGrath, who guided his native Down to All-Ireland success in 1991 and 1994, is a surprising choice to lead the Ernesiders, who will begin 2014 in Division 3 of the Allianz League.
McGrath's lost job in management saw him involved with the Down minors for the second time. However, he was informed last month that would be replaced in that role.
He was also in charge of the Ireland International Rules team for the matches with Australia in 2004 and 2005.
