Cruciate damage ends Killenny's season

Dublin's Ciarán Kilkenny is set to miss the rest of the season after tearing his anterior cruciate ligament while playing for the Dublin footballers against Kildare last night.

Kilkenny went off early in the 1-22 to 1-12 win over the Lilywhites and scan today revealed the extent of the damage to his left knee.
