Taylor eases through European opener

Katie Taylor was a comfortable winner over her Swiss opponent Sandra Brugger in the first round of the European Championship in Bucharest.

Taylor forced Brugger into a standing count in the first round.

Taylor's London Olympic final opponent Sofya Ochigava also won her opening fight and the two are now on course to meet in the gold medal bout.
