Ryan Moore has been booked to ride Qipco 2000 Guineas winner Night Of Thunder in the Qatar Prix du Moulin at Longchamp on Sunday.
Trainer Richard Hannon was pleased to acquire the services of Moore after stable jockey Richard Hughes opted to partner Toronado in the Group One in Paris.
"We are delighted to have snapped up Ryan Moore for Night of Thunder in the Moulin, with Hughesie naturally staying with Toronado," the Herridge handler told www.richardhannonracing.co.uk.
"We call Night of Thunder the 'Kingslayer' in the yard - he beat Kingman fair and square in the Guineas - and he has benefited from his break.
"Toronado is still very much in the mix for the QEII Stakes at Ascot on Champions Day and we could then look at the Breeders' Cup Mile and Hong Kong."
Kingman, who defeated Toronado in the Sussex Stakes at Glorious Goodwood, was expectedly not among the 15 horses left in the Moulin at the latest acceptance stage.
Kingman's trainer John Gosden has instead left in Goodwood Group Three winner Wannabe Yours, while other British interests rest with Mark Johnston's Bow Creek and Master Carpenter from Rod Millman's yard.
Leading the home contingent are Jonathan Pease's French 2000 Guineas victor Karakontie and the Andre Fabre-trained pair of Esoterique, winner of the Prix Rothschild, and Decathlete.
