Napoli loan signing Eduardo Vargas should recover from having stitches in his head to make his home debut for QPR's clash against Stoke.
The Chile striker suffered a clash of heads in midweek action for Rangers' Under-21s.
Boss Harry Redknapp expects Joey Barton and Jordon Mutch to beat niggles in time to face Mark Hughes' side at Loftus Road.

Midfielder Jack Wilshere should shake off an ankle knock, but defender Nacho Monreal (back) remains out.
Full-back Mathieu Debuchy is sidelined by an ankle ligament injury, the full extent of which is still being assessed and striker Yaya Sanogo (hamstring) is still not match fit, while winger Theo Walcott (knee) continues his recovery. Midfielder Serge Gnabry (knee) remains out and France forward Olivier Giroud (fractured foot) is a long-term absentee.

Matt Taylor is also out with a niggling Achilles problem but loan duo Nathan Chalobah and Michael Keane are eyeing debuts.

Striker Papiss Cisse is closing in on a return from a long-term knee injury, but fellow frontman Adam Campbell (hernia) is likely to be missing for some time and full-back Davide Santon is still out as he continues his recovery from a knee problem.

Argentina defender Federico Fernandez stands by to make his first Premier League start for Swansea following his £8million move from Napoli last month.
Fernandez came on at half-time in the 4-2 defeat at Chelsea last weekend after Jordi Amat damaged knee ligaments and should slot into central defence alongside skipper Ashley Williams against Southampton at the Liberty Stadium.
Amat has been ruled out for six weeks and the only other change from the Chelsea defeat could see the return of Wilfried Bony for Bafetimbi Gomis. The Ivorian dropped to the bench at Stamford Bridge following his late return from African Nations Cup duty.

Midfielder Silvestre Varela could be involved after the summer signing from Porto boosted his fitness while Stephane Sessegnon has recovered after a ball in the face caused him to have blood on his eye and miss last week's 2-0 defeat to Everton.

Eto'o impressed after coming on as substitute for the final 22 minutes of Thursday night's 4-1 UEFA Europa League win over Wolfsburg and Martinez believes he is now ready for a full 90 minutes.
Everton's only doubt is right-back Seamus Coleman, who sustained a knock on the head against the German side and will undergo a late fitness test.
