Republic of Ireland goalkeeper David Forde wants his team-mates to exploit German weaknesses in tomorrow's night Euro 2016 Group D qualifier in Gelsenkirchen.
Germany suffered a shock 2-0 defeat to Poland on Saturday to throw the group wide open and leave pressure on the world champions to bounce back after a less than inspiring start to qualification.
Forde was largely an observer for Saturday's 7-0 win over Gibraltar and expects to have more saves to make this time around.
"I'm anticipating to be busy," Forde told RTÉ Sport.
"They are a fantastic outfit and world champions. [After] we played them last time, you just knew they were going to be difficult to beat in that World Cup.
"They are a typical German side - efficient, quick, powerful and big. They are in a bit of transitional period and have lost a lot of big players.
"We go there on the back of six points in the bag. We could have been coming into this campaign where it could have been over by Christmas so we have given ourselves a great chance. If we can go there and get a result we would be on the pig's back.
"One of the biggest strengths of the German is their arrogance and their confidence, but also it can be their biggest weakness as well.
"If we can get a goal, and unsettle them, we are a good outfit at the moment and play with some good tempo so it should make for an interesting game."
