Kilkenny manager Brian Cody has escaped sanction by the GAA's Central Hearings Committee over criticism of referee Barry Kelly but has been warned over his future conduct.
A CHC statement said that the comments "did not constitute misconduct considered to have discredited the Association.
"However, Briain Mac Óda was warned as to his future conduct in media interviews."
Cody had said that Westmeath's Kelly, who refereed the drawn All-Ireland final between Tipperary and Kilkenny last month, made a "criminal" decision in awarding a contentious late free to the Premier County.
The free went narrowly wide and Kilkenny won the subsequent replay for their 35th All-Ireland crown and 10th under Cody.
"They (Tipperary) were handed an opportunity in the wrong, with the last puck of the game the last day, to win the game," he said.
"They were handed an opportunity which was a completely wrong decision. We didn't speak about it the last day but it was criminal.
"People can say that I am whinging and moaning all they like, but I am telling the truth."
