Pro12 teams: O'Mahony back for Munster

In one of eight changes from last weekend's starting line-up, Munster head coach Anthony Foley has promoted the returning Peter O'Mahony to the starting 15 to face Scarlets at Thomond Park (7.35pm).

An all-new front row sees Dave Kilcoyne and BJ Botha pack down on either side of Kevin O'Byrne, as the 23-year-old UL Bohs man makes his second Pro12 start.

Dave Foley retains his position in the second row alongside Billy Holland, who comes in to make his fourth league start of the season.

Following a 16-minute appearance from the bench last weekend, O'Mahony returns and captains the side at 6, while Tommy O'Donnell remains at openside with CJ Stander switching to 8 for the round-6 encounter.

In the half-backs, man of the match against Leinster Conor Murray will again start at scrum-half with JJ Hanrahan making his first start of the season at 10.

Ivan Dineen and Andrew Smith form the centre partnership at 12 and 13 respectively, while Gerhard van den Heever comes in to join Simon Zebo and Felix Jones in the back three.

Munster: Felix Jones, Gerhard van den Heever, Andrew Smith, Ivan Dineen, Simon Zebo; JJ Hanrahan, Conor Murray; Dave Kilcoyne, Kevin O'Byrne, BJ Botha; Dave Foley, Billy Holland; Peter O'Mahony (capt), Tommy O'Donnell, CJ Stander.

In the same week that he signed an academy contract, Connacht's 20-year-old Shane Delahunt has been handed his first Pro12 for his province's clash with Benetton Treviso on Friday night (7pm).

The young hooker starts in an all-new front row this week with September Player of the Month Denis Buckley and Ireland-capped tighthead prop Rodney Ah You both called upon.

In the back row, Galway man Eoin McKeon is named at openside flanker while the only change to the backs sees Matt Healy start on the left wing, while Danie Poolman is included amongst the replacement backs along with Dave McSharry and Ian Porter.

Head coach Pat Lam said: "We've made a few changes to the pack for our game against Treviso. We travel this week without Nathan (White) who just missed out due to a minor neck strain.

"Rodney (Ah You) and Denis (Buckley) return to start and are charged with looking after young Academy forward Shane Delahunt, who earns his first start. It's a fantastic opportunity for Shane who has come off the bench the last two games for a few minutes."

Connacht: Darragh Leader, Niyi Adeolokun, Robbie Henshaw, Craig Ronaldson, Matt Healy, Jack Carty, Kieran Marmion, Denis Buckley, Shane Delahunt, Rodney Ah You, Mick Kearney, Quinn Roux, John Muldoon, Eoin McKeon, George Naoupu.
