Aston Villa have been forced to cancel their October Goal of the Month competition - because they didn't score any.
Villa, with Roy Keane as assistant manager, played three Premier League matches during the month, losing 2-0 to Manchester City, 3-0 to Everton and 2-0 to Queens Park Rangers.
They also failed to score in their last two games in September losing 3-0 to both Arsenal and Chelsea, and in all went five successive matches spanning 547 minutes without a goal until Andreas Weimann scored in the 16th minute against Tottenham Hotspur at Villa Park on Sunday.
Their previous goal had come in the ninth minute of their 1-0 win at Liverpool on 13 September, but Weimann's goal, scored on the second day of November, did them no good in the long run as they ended up losing 2-1 - their sixth straight league defeat.
When they beat Liverpool in the middle of September they were second in the table but following Sunday's defeat to Spurs they are now 16th, one point above the relegation zone.
No-one from Villa responded to Reuters calls for a comment.
