Alexis Sanchez continued his glittering run of form, scoring twice and setting up a third as a dominant Arsenal put Stoke to the sword.

Arsenal had already had two good chances to score by the time Sanchez found Laurent Koscielny with a pin-point cross in the sixth minute.

And the Chilean wizard got his name on the scoreboard twice thereafter, firstly with a great finish after a mazy run in the 33rd minute, and then, shortly after the break with a deflected free-kick.

A good day for Arsene Wenger's side was rounded off by the sight of Mesut Ozil making his return from four months out through injury.

Arsenal were never really troubled by Stoke, and Sanchez was at the heart of most of their good play as they maintained the 3-0 scoreline to take the points.
