WBO middleweight world champion Andy Lee is still unsure where he will make his first title defence, but says "we'll know in the next week."
Reports today claimed Lee would defend his title in Dublin March against Denmark's Patrick Nielsen, and while Lee said Dublin may be the destination, he admitted his preferred venue was Thomond Park, Limerick, with America still a possibility.
The Limerick southpaw, speaking on The Late Late Show tonight, said: "I've had three dreams in my career. One was to win a world title and two was to bring it back to Limerick. And my third dream would be to defend it in Limerick and hopefully that can be done in the summer."
Lee continued: "There has been a few reports that I would fight in Dublin in March, and that could possibly happen but at this moment in time there's a lot of interest in America so Adam Booth is arranging that and we'll know within the next week."
Lee last month knocked out the previously undefeated Matt Korobov at the Cosmopolitan Hotel in Las Vegas to claim the belt.
