Sam Bennett wins final stage of Tour of Qatar

Ireland's Sam Bennett won today's stage six, the final stage of the Tour of Qatar.

Bennett, of the Bora-Argon 18 team, will be delighted with this win after yesterday's efforts were thwarted by a puncture when in a good position two kilometres from the end.

The Carrick-on-Suir rider took today's stage with a bunch sprint finish in a time of 02:23.03 to finish in 79th place overall.

Dutchman Niki Terpstra of Etixx-Quick Step finished top in the overall time classification, with Maciej Bodnar of Tinkoff-Saxo second.
