O'Brien secures Limerick last-gasp win

Wexford 3-18 Limerick 4-16

Substitute Sean O'Brien's late point gave visitors a one-point Allianz Hurling League Division 1B win over Wexford in an epic encounter at Wexford Park.

Wexford led 3-09 to 2-09 at half-time thanks to goals from Liam Og McGovern (2) and Jack Guiney, with John Fitzgibbon and Shane Dowling finding the net for the Shannonsiders.

The hosts led by three points with five minutes to go, but David Breen's close range goal brought Limerick level before O'Brien had the final say.
