St Vincent's, the famed GAA club on Dublin's northside, is once again 70 minutes away from landing more silverware.
The All-Ireland champions face Offaly's Rhode in Sunday's Leinster club final in Navan.
Tommy Conroy's men are looking to make it six provincial titles for the Marino outfit - a pursuit that further underlines the upturn in the club's recent fortunes.
A name synonymous with the 'Vinnys' is Kevin Heffernan. As a player and manager, he left an indelible imprint. The legacy he left behind is still important to the club.
Speaking to RTÉ Sport, St Vincent's selector Neil Curran described 'Heffo' as "a very modest man who loved his GAA. So much of what he did was about hard work, yet whether you won or lost, it was about how you conducted yourself.
For Kevin, humility was a big quality. After a game he would go off and do his own thing. It would be very low key and very balanced. Many of us have tried to follow in his path. It's a great legacy to have left behind."
Looking ahead to Sunday's final, Curran, not surprisingly, is expecting a tough challenge from Rhode and believes the Offaly champions will relish the prospect of trying to lower Vincent's colours
"Teams from Offaly always have a tradition of really causing surprises and really doing well when they need to do well," he added.
"They love the idea of being up against a team like St Vincent's.
"It sets the final up nicely. We have nothing but huge respect for Rhode; for the amount of times they've won their county championship and for knocking on the Leinster door in the last few years.
"We know well we have a big challenge in front of us but we're looking forward to it."
