Diarmuid Connolly is likely to be out for a month because of an ankle injury picked up in Sunday's Allianz Football League win over Kerry.
Connolly was stretchered off with suspected ligament damage in the first half against the Kingdom.
A scan has shown there is no serious injury and he will return in March.
Connolly will miss Dublin's games against Mayo and Kildare, but could be back in time for the tie against Tyrone at Croke Park on March 16.
Dublin will also be without the services of Michael Darragh Macauley for the upcoming clash with Mayo due to the red card picked up against Kerry last Sunday.
