Ireland lost out 4-1 to hosts England in their final pool match today in the Investec London Cup, but have done enough to secure a spot in tomorrow's final against the same opposition.
Commenting after the match, coach Ned Fulton said: "Credit to England, they took the chances they created in the first half and we had to chase the game.
"We are all looking forward to the final tomorrow."
England opened their scoring today with captain Barry Middleton lifting over Harte to find the back of the goal, before Alistair Brogdon made it 2-0 in the 30th minute.
England highlighted their finishing ability in the 34th minute thanks to Harry Martin to give his side a healthy 3-0 lead at half-time.
Ireland put one of their own on the scoreboard thanks to the experienced Ronan Gormley, but England Henry Weir put the game beyond the Green Machine's reach with the fourth and final goal to make it 4-1.
