The Republic of Ireland have climbed four places in the FIFA rankings to 62 after recent wins over Georgia and Oman.
Martin O'Neil's side won their Euro qualifier in Georgia 2-1 courtesy of an impressive brace of goals from Aiden McGeady, a game which was preceded by a 2-0 friendly win over Oman in Dublin.
World champions Germany retain top spot, followed by Argentina in second and Colombia overtake the Netherlands to claim third place.
Belgium stay fifth with Brazil rising one place to sixth after friendly wins over Colombia and Ecuador, their first two games under new coach Dunga.
England climb two spots to 18th, Scotland drop one to 29th, a position Ireland's Euro 2016 group rivals share with Wales, and Northern Ireland leap 24 places to 71st following Michael O'Neill's side's Euro qualifier victory in Hungary.
