Bryan Cullen calls time on Dublin career

Former Dublin captain Bryan Cullen has called time on his 12-year inter-county career.

The 30-year-old Skerries Harps wing-forward won two All-Ireland titles with the Dubs, as skipper in 2011 and again in 2013 when goalkeeper Stephen Cluxton captained the side.

Cullen was part of the Dublin side that won their first ever U21 football title in 2003 and made his senior debut later that year.

In addition to the two All-Ireland titles, he also won ten Leinster medals and two league titles.

Speaking to the Dublin GAA website, Cullen said: ""I've been fortunate enough to represent Dublin at senior level since 2003 but I feel now is the time to step away.

"I would like to extend my sincere thanks to Dublin managers Tommy Lyons, Pillar Caffrey, Pat Gilroy and Jim Gavin and especially to all the Dublin players past and present that I had the pleasure of sharing the pitch with.

"For now, I'm looking forward to focusing on my career and playing with my club Skerries Harps over the next few years."
