Champions Dundalk may have a 100% record so far but Shamrock Rovers boss Pat Fenlon says his side aren't doing so badly either.
The Hoops are just a point behind the Lilywhites in the SSE Airtricity League Premier Division, having played a game more. They have also conceded just one goal in the six games so far, while the Co Louth side's defence has yet to be breached.
Speaking after a comprehensive 3-0 win over Galway United last night, Fenlon told RTÉ Sport: "We've had a great start. I think people have overlooked that because Dundalk have done so well.
"You have to give them credit for that. In fairness, they've had a fantastic start.
"We're unbeaten, we haven't conceded a goal [at home]; we've conceded one goal, from a set piece, all season, so we've got a real good start ourselves.
"It's very early days. Things can happen over the course of a season. I've been around too long to be worrying about teams ahead of us at this stage of the season."

Led by the impressive Simon Madden, Paddy Cregg and Keith Fahey, Rovers were good value for the win over a suspension-hindered Galway side, with Mikey Drennan's brace and a late strike from Brandon Miele wrapping up the points.
Fenlon, in his first full season in charge, said: "[I'm] delighted with [the goals, and it was a] decent performance as well. We created a lot of chances in the first half.
"We just had to be patient as well. We knew it was going to be difficult to break Galway down. Most teams are coming here and making it difficult for us.
"We said that to the players – be a bit more patient and the goals came in the end.
"Mikey's been playing well for us and training well, I'm delighted he's got two tonight. Obviously, goalscorers [get] confidence from scoring goals.
"Young Brandon, who was left out of the squad last week, showed a great attitude this week in training, great finish for the third goal as well.
"We created enough chances to score a few more. I know Galway were a little bit depleted with suspensions and the sending-off [of Marc Ludden on 77 minutes] doesn't help them either."
The Dublin side were once again without injured striker Danny North but Fenlon hopes that the ex-Pat's and Sligo player will be in the mix for next Friday's visit to Derry City.
"We'll see, we're hoping he'll train on Tuesday, see how he is. He had a jab today so we'll see how he is on Tuesday.
"Hopefully he can train and then get him back in for Friday," said the former Hibs manager.
